SBC Waste solutions

Garbage and recycling waste is picked up from curbs and alleys by SBC Waste Solutions once a week. When a scheduled pickup day falls on a holiday, collection will be made the following day. The VIllage Municipal Code requires all garbage be covered and not placed in paper bags or boxes for collection. RATES

The current garbage/recycling rates are:

  • $21.65 per month for non-seniors

  • $18.56 per month for seniors (residents age 65 and older need to complete the Senior Discount Form  online or in person at Village Hall). 

SERVICES

  • Regular refuse & recycling collection

  • Collection of 2 bulk items per week

  • Unlimited collection of White Goods (call or email to schedule pickup)

  • Unlimited collection of E-Waste (call or email to schedule pickup)

  • Unlimited collection of Household Hazardous Waste (call or email to schedule pickup)

  • Collection of yard waste from April 1 through last full week of December  

  • Option to add compost collection for additional charge

  • Annual Spring Clean-Up collection event every April  

  • Cart retrieval assistance for seniors/disabled residents
