The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago's (MWRD's) Addison Creek Reservoir and Channel Improvements will provide flood relief in Chicago's western suburbs.
The Village of Westchester has recieved a $2.19 million ARPA allocation that will allow for the replacement of ALL residential water meters in the Village. 
The Gladstone Bridge replacement project that began on  August 15, 2022 that was split between the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Village of Westchester has been completed.  The Village of Westchester would like to thank the Illinois Department of Transportation for funding this project.
The water, sewer and street project has completed on Suffolk Ave and Canterbury St. The water and sewer project were funded by the referendum and the street project were funded by the motor fuel tax bond.
On November 7, 2022 Westchester Acting Village Manager Greg Hribal, John LaPaglia with Christopher Burke Engineering and Public Works Foreman Steve Crawley planted a London plane tree at the corner of Crestwood Ln & Westchester Blvd.
The Village of Westchester was recently made aware of a printing error on our November water bills. Bills were calculated correctly, however the details and breakdown of costs was omitted from the printing.
