Training included signs, symptoms, and de-escalation tactics when dealing with intellectual and or developmental disabilities.

Officers Rodriguez, and Officer McCord were sworn in by Village President Hribal on December 18th at a special swearing in ceremony before they will report to the police academy in early January for the next stage of their law enforcement career. At the completion of their academy, both officers will be sworn in at a Village Board meeting.
