On 09/16/23 around 14:00 a female suspect followed around multiple individuals at the Jewel-Osco grocery store located at 2128 Mannheim Rd. The suspect appeared to drop money while in checkout lanes to see if other customers would notice. In some cases, unsuspecting victims (seemingly targeting elderly) would point it out and the suspect would pick it up and hand it to them implying it was actually the customers money, to engage them in conversation.
On 9/10/2023 at approximately 1829 hours, Westchester Police Department was dispatched to the Westbrook Corporate Towers for a reckless driving complaint. Dispatch relayed information that several vehicles were in the south portion of the parking lot doing donuts and driving recklessly. 
On 8/24/2023 Westchester Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Hawthorne Avenue reference a Fraud report. Officer(s) spoke with the victim who advised that he entered into agreement regarding repairs to his residence.
On June 30th, 2023 at 1545hrs Westchester Police Department was dispatched for an attempted theft of motor vehicle. Officers spoke to the victim who related he parked his vehicle in the early morning hours and observed the damage later in the day. Vehicle was processed by evidence technicians and reviewing security cameras in the area.
On July 1st 2023, Cook County Sheriff Police Department took a subject into custody wanted by Westchester Police Department.
Westchester Police are looking for help to identify a suspect who robbed JD Food & Liquor on Saturday July 1st.
On June 29th, 2023 the Westchester Police Department Investigation Division was conducting a investigation during a Dupage/Cook County mutual aid detail.
On 04/19/23, Westchester Police Department responded to the 11000 block of Nelson St for a Fraud report. Police spoke to the victim who stated on April 18th, 2023 he discovered $8000.00 was transferred from his savings and into his checking account and noticed an unauthorized purchases totaling $3500. 
On April 11, 2023 a Westchester resident reported they were the victim of Credit Card Fraud. The victim relayed that an unknown suspect used their credit card at various locations purchasing items over $1,800.00.
On 3/17/2023 at 12:32 pm the Westchester Police Department Officers were dispatched to the area of 700 blk Newcastle Ave for a call of shots fired.
