Fire Department
The Westchester Fire Department is located in two facilities. Station 1 is at 10300 W. Roosevelt Road. Station 2 is at 10760 Cermak Road. The emergency number for fire, and ambulance emergencies is 911. The non-emergency number is (708) 345-0433. We are "ready, willing, and able" to meet the needs of our residents whenever called upon. Please do not hesitate to call us - time is often of the essence in an emergency.

Department Organization - Administrative Operations
The Fire Department is comprised of 6 divisions and numerous committees. Officers lead divisions. Committees are lead by fire fighters. The Divisions of the department are:
Training - responsible for initial and continuing education of the members of the department.
Fire Prevention - Oversees the building and inspection of all commercial property in the community.
Communications - Responsible for the maintenance of records, reports, billing, and communication systems of the department.
EMS - Provides for the emergency medical service needs of the department and community.
Water - Analyzes the capabilities of the Village water system, its components, and the fire department's ability to provide the required water flow for fire emergencies.
Maintenance - Oversees the maintenance needs of the fire department's buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
