Chapter 7.20 CURFEW

It is unlawful for any person under eighteen years of age to
be present at or upon any public assembly, building, place, street or highway at
the following times unless accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal
guardian, or other person having custody of such minor, or other adult, or
unless engaged in a business or occupation which the laws of this state
authorize a person less than eighteen years of age to perform:
(1) Between eleven-thirty p.m. Friday and six a.m.
Saturday;
(2) Between eleven-thirty p.m. Saturday and six a.m.
Sunday;
(3) Between ten-thirty p.m. on Sunday to Thursday, inclusive,
and six a.m. on the following day. (Ord. 63-673 § 1, 1963)
7.20.020 Permitting children to violate curfew.
It is unlawful for anyone having the legal care and custody
of any person as described above to knowingly permit a person in his custody or
control to violate Section 7.20.010. (Ord. 63-673 § 2, 1963)
7.20.030 Enforcement.
Every member of the police force is authorized to arrest any
such minor wilfully violating the provisions of the first section of this
chapter until the parent or guardian of the child shall take him or her into
custody; but such officer shall as soon as reasonably possible upon taking
custody of the child communicate with the parent or guardian. (Ord. 63-673
