Public Meeting on February 2 for
Westchester Comprehensive Planning Project
The Village invites local residents, business owners, community leaders, and other stakeholders to attend a special community planning event. Have your say on Thursday, February 2, 2012, when the Village of Westchester, in partnership with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), will host the first public workshop to start the process of creating its new comprehensive plan. The event will be held at the Westchester Community Church, 1840 Westchester Blvd, Westchester, IL 60154.

Change to Village Hall Hours
Please note that the village hall has new hours
Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
The second Saturday of each month - 8:30am to 12:30pm
The building department will be closed daily between 12:00pm and 1:00pm

Snow Route Parking Restrictions
The Village of Westchester would like to remind residents of the snow parking ordinances. Please read village ordinances 10.30.010 and 10.30.020 for more information on the parking restrictions enacted to aid our plows during times of snow. Click here for a map of the snow routes.

Seeking Your Thoughts
The Westchester Economic Development Committee is seeking information from residents on what businesses you would like to see come to Westchester. The Economic Development Committee and the University of Illinois at Chicago Urban Planning want your ideas for retail choices and development in Westchester. You can make a difference in forward movement for the Village of Westchester, as we plan for positive changes in the economy and begin planning for the enhancement of our retail areas.

Zoning Board of Appeals
The Village of Westchester is currently accepting applications to fill two vacant appointments on the Zoning Board of Appeals. Applicants should turn their resumes in to President Pulia at the Village Hall at 10300 Roosevelt Road. Applicants are subject to a background check prior to appointment.

| Bill Payment
We now have the capability of paying parking tickets and compliance tickets 24 hours a day, online through our webpage, in addition to our utility bill payment capability. The Village accepts all types of credit cards with no service fee charged.
